Kitten Vaccination & Parasite Treatment Planner
Get a personalized kitten vaccine and deworming timeline to discuss with your vet.
Your kitten's plan
About this planner
The timeline follows the general approach of international feline vaccination guidelines (such as those from the AAFP/AAHA and WSAVA): core vaccines every 3–4 weeks from about 8 weeks of age until at least 16 weeks, a booster at around 6 months to 1 year, and then boosters every few years depending on risk. FeLV vaccination is widely recommended for kittens and continued for adult cats at risk. Rabies vaccination depends on local law.
Your vet may use a different schedule — for example, starting at 6 weeks, using different products, or adjusting for a kitten's health or history. That's normal. Use this plan as a checklist for your conversations with your vet, not as a replacement for their advice.
Adopted an older kitten or adult?
If your cat's vaccination history is unknown, vets usually give two doses of core vaccines 3–4 weeks apart, followed by boosters. The planner marks dates that have already passed so you can discuss catching up.
Parasites
Kittens are commonly treated for worms every two weeks until about 8 weeks and then monthly to 6 months. Flea and other parasite prevention depends on your cat's lifestyle and where you live. See parasites and the full vaccination guide.
